The Abhishek Banerjee-starrer 'Stolen' is scheduled to be showcased on the World Premiere of the Venice Film Festival 2023 as India's sole choice.

A suspense mystery film helmed by debutant Karan Tejpal, 'Stolen' might be showcased along marvelous international capabilities, drastically David Fincher's 'The Killer', Bradley Cooper's 'Maestro' and Sofia Coppola's actual-story film 'Priscilla'.

Talking approximately the film representing on the prestigious film competition, Abhishek said, ''Stolen representing India at the prestigious Venice Film Festiva is certainly a monumental success. About the movie 'Stolen'
Set in a far flung rural railway station in India, 'Stolen' tells the gripping story of a five-month-antique child abducted from her mother, a girl named Jhumpa Mahato.

This dark and grievous incident attracts the eye of  city brothers, Gautam and Raman, leading them into a labyrinth of challenges that check their relationships and convictions.Director Karan Tejpal, who started his career as an assistant director with 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai' stated "The Festival has a wealthy records of showcasing notable films that have left a mark on the arena of cinema, and we are honoured to be in such esteemed enterprise."

The Venice Film Festival will kick off on August 30 and finish on September 9.
