Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been entertaining the viewers from the past 12 years and has been getting good TRPs. The show is loved by the viewers not only because of the great storyline but also because of the good performances by the actors.Recently as per the reports Gurucharan Singh has decided to take a break from the show to take care of his unwell father. Gurucharan Singh played the role of Roshan Sodhi and was loved by the viewers. But due to his father's illness, he has decided to quit the show and Balwinder Singh Suri has taken charge.

Balwinder Singh Suri was seen as the co-start in Shah Rukh Khan’s Dil Toh Pagal Hai. He was appreciated for his role in the movie. According to the tabloid, Balwinder has already started shooting for the show from this week. The makers for the show had waited for Gurucharan Singh to join the show but due to his father’s illness, he has decided to take a break from the show. Therefore the shooting for the show has begun with Gurucharan Singh.Neha Mehta who plays the role of Anjali Mehta is also reported to have left the show. She has informed the makers of the show in advance and even they tried to convince her to stay back but she had some different plans for her career.The veteran actor Rakesh Bedi is among the new entry in the show, who’ll be playing the role of Tarak Metha’s Boss (Shailesh Lodha). Balwinder Singh Suri has played recurring roles in the show and now he’ll be playing one of the most loved characters of the show Roshan Sodhi.
