Bombay High Court reserves order on Rhea Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty bail plea
The Bombay High Court in the wake of tuning in to the contentions on bail supplication by Rhea Chakraborty and Showik Chakraborty on Thursday held the request. The Chakraborty kin were captured by the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) in a medication case connected to late entertainer Sushant Singh Rajput. A Single Judge Bench of Justice SV Kotwal was hearing the bail applications.Meanwhile, the NCB had prior recorded an affirmation in Bombay High Court looking for dismissal of the bail supplications of the kin. As indicated by a report by Indian Express, the testimonies that were presented by NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede expressed that the medications, wherein Rhea and Showik are blamed for, were not implied for individual utilization. Rhea was captured on September 8 and Showik was taken into NCB guardianship on September 4. Their prior bail application was dismissed by an exceptional NDPS court and they were sent to legal guardianship. Rhea will be in legal care till October 6.
