Indrani Mukerjeas docuseries: Bombay High Court rejects CBI plea seeking stay on release

The Bombay High Court on Thursday has dismissed the plea filed by means of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in search of stay on the release of docuseries titled The Indrani Mukerjea Story: Buried Truth. The Bombay High Court has counseled streaming massive Netflix to defer the discharge of the docuseries, based on Indrani Mukherjea, who turned into accused of killing her daughter Sheena Bora. As in step with Bar and Bench, a department bench of Justices Revati Mohite Dere and Manjusha Deshpande watch the docuseries and discovered nothing prejudicial in it towards the continued trial in the homicide case.

Earlier, the High Court said in its order that its special screening have to first be carried out in the front of the High Court, CBI and attorneys.

Directed by using Shaana Levy and Uraaz Bahl, the docuseries become scheduled to launch on Netflix on February 23. 

The probe organisation had in advance approached the High Court, in search of a live on the release of the documentary series.

Later, the High Court cautioned Netflix to keep a screening for the lawyers and the judges involved, due to which collection' release at the platform became postponed.

What even she (Indrani) has stated (in the collection), the entirety is in public domain. Honestly we've got not found anything that goes against the prosecution. You can't presume the accused to be guilty,'' Bar and Bench pronounced quoting the bench.
