Jacqueline Fernandez to star along with Salman Khan in Kick 2. The news was announced on Nadiadwala Grandsons official twitter account on Jacqueline Fernandez's 35th birthday. Kick 2 director Sajid Nadiadwala’s wife Warda Nadiadwala tweeted, “Here is your BIRTHDAY GIFT that will be remembered Forever! @Asli_Jacqueline overjoyed to FORMALLY announce that #SajidNadiadwala locked the script at 4 am this morning & has written an exceptional role for you! @BeingSalmanKhan’s #Kick2 rolling soon Welcome Back! @NGEMovies”

Kick 2 is the sequel to Kick starring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez. Salman Khan played the role of Devi Lal Singh (Devil), the masked thief who is in the search of which gives him a kick and Jacqueline Fernandez played a psychiatrist in the movie. Sajid Nadiadwala has earlier announced Salman Khan in the lead for Kick 2 but the female lead wasn’t announced. At the start of the year, Sajid Nadiadwala had told PTI, “We are yet to lock the female co-star, post which we will start working on the shoot dates. Kick 2 will happen in December 2021. I am in a process to finish writing the script.”

As per the sources due to the pandemic, the movie release has been postponed and the final release date is yet to be announced. Meanwhile, Salman Khan is shooting for the reality show Bigg Boss 14’s teaser and was spotted outside Mumbai studio.
