Recently, Bollywood actor John Abraham lashed out on the higher authorities of the BMC because of the misleading information about animals(pets) catching the deadly corona virus. But, as per the WHO animals are not prone to the virus and they are absolutely safe. Hence, the BMC apologized the actor for sharing misleading news in the newspaper. If, you follow John Abraham then you must be aware about the fact that he loves animals and he won’t tolerate any fake news about the animals which could lead to the abandonment of thousands of pet animals.According to the reports the official government body of the state has posted several hoardings in the city which said wild animals transmit the virus which is not obviously the truth, being an advocate of animal rights and animal lovers John lashed out on his twitter handle by posting the picture of the same news paper which said about the hoardings in the city by captioning that “Animals do not get or transmit COVID-19…

Please don’t get misinformed.”After this the official BMC handle of Mumbai apologized the actor for sharing the misleading information and appreciated the action of the actor by retweeting the post of John. Here is the tweet by the BMC- “Sir, We regret the misinformation that led to panic among pet owners. We too love pets & hence as soon as this was brought to our notice, all of these hoardings were removed with immediate effect. We request you to help spread the message & help us keep Mumbai safe.” Now the hoardings and all the posters of the misleading information about the animals have been taken down by the officials.Hence, there are several misleading news floating around so don’t panic or take any severe decision until and unless you are sure about the news. It's high time to be alert and not take this situation lightly so be safe and stay at home!
