Nawazuddin also shared photographs of a script-reading session along with Neha. Kushan Nandy, who directed Nawazuddin in the 2017 in crime-drama, "Babumoshai Bandookbaaz", will once again collaborate with Nawaz on the new film, which is written by Ghalib Asad Bhopali, who had also written the earlier film. " It celebrates the couple, their fancies and madness, set against the milieu of small town India or what I choose to call - the more glitzy and exuberant India," Kushan said in a statement, about "Jogira Sara Ra Ra".

Jogira Sara Ra Ra is produced by Naeem A. Siddiqui under the banner of Touchwood Multimedia Creations. Ghalib Asad Bhopali has written the movie and Kiran Shyam Shroff is the artistic producer. It will be shot extensively in and around Lucknow, Benaras and Mumbai.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui was last seen in a Netflix film ‘Raat Akeli Hai’ along with Radhika Apte, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Shweta Tripathi. His upcoming releases are Bole Chudiyan and No Land's Ma.

Neha Sharma was last seen on the big screen in Ajay Devgan’s ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ said the film is going to be “full of love, life and laughter”. Neha’s next film ‘Taish’ is directed by Bejoy Nambiar.
