Priyanka Chopra has strongly reacted to the viral video from Manipur, the frightening incident of two tribal ladies being paraded bare and molested with the aid of a collection of guys in the kingdom. The worldwide megastar demanded rapid justice and punishment for the perpetrators. The Citadel actress took to her Instagram Stories and wrote, "It took a video going viral… seventy seven days after the heinous crimes had been committed… Before movements were taken. Rationale? Reasons? None count number--regardless of what and why, situational or circumstantial, we cannot allow women to be pawns in any video games." Adding, "The collective disgrace and anger needs to be channelled now in a unified voice for just one aspect- swift justice,” she added with hashtags ‘collectively in disgrace’ and ‘justice for the girls of Manipur." With this, Priyanka added  hashtags -- "#togetherinshame," and "#justiceoforthewomeninmanipur."Many Bollywood celebrities which includes Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani, Renuka Shahane, Richa Chadha, Sonu Sood and others have additionally condemned the violence. Kiara Advani tweeted, "The video of violence against ladies in Manipur is scary and has shaken me to the middle. I pray the ladies get justice on the earliest. Those responsible have to face the maximum SEVERE punishment they deserve." And, Akshay Kumar expressed, "Shaken, disgusted to look the video of violence against women in Manipur. I hope the culprits get such a harsh punishment that no person ever thinks of doing a scary element like this once more."Union Minister for Women and Child Welfare Smriti Irani also responded to the alleged video after speakme to the state Chief minister. She tweeted, "The bad video of sexual assault of 2 girls emanating from Manipur is condemnable and downright inhuman. Spoke to CM N Biren Singh ji who has knowledgeable me that research is presently underway & assured that no effort might be spared to carry perpetrators to justice."
