Actor Sanjay Dutt on Saturday took to his Instagram cope with to commemorate the 19th loss of life anniversary of his father, Sunil Dutt. Legendary actor Sunil Dutt died in 2005 due to a coronary heart assault in Mumbai. In the post, he also penned a heartfelt message for his late father and published two nostalgic pictures, along with a monochrome image of Sunil Dutt in his youth and a touching nonetheless from their iconic movie Munna Bhai MBBS, in which the father-son duo shared a heat hug, popularly referred to as 'Jaadu Ki Jhappi'. ''Holding onto the recollections and your love, Dad. You stay a guiding light in my lifestyles. Missing you these days and each day," wrote Sanjay inside the caption.

Sunil Dutt, recognised for his stellar performances in classics like Mother India, Waqt, Padosan, and Sadhna, left an indelible mark on Indian cinema. His romance with actress Nargis, which started out dramatically at the sets of Mother India whilst he rescued her from a hearth, became certainly one of Bollywood's maximum cherished love stories. The couple married on March eleven, 1958, and collectively that they had three kids Sanjay, Priya, and Namrata Dutt.

The Dutt own family confronted huge demanding situations, in particular with Nargis's battle with pancreatic cancer, which claimed her life on May 3, 1981.

In addition to his cinematic achievements, Sunil Dutt made substantial contributions to Indian politics. He joined the Congress birthday celebration in 1984 and served as a Member of Parliament for 5 consecutive terms, representing the Mumbai North West constituency until his loss of life. Sunil Dutt's very last film appearance was in Munna Bhai M.B.B.S, in which he shared the display screen with Sanjay.
