What works for Shaitaan:
Shaitaan gives a amazing blend of thrill and excessive-octane drama. It does not take much time to cut to the chase. The family portions are completely satisfied and feature a playful innocence. The supernatural elements are utilised efficaciously. Both the climax and submit climax scenes are tremendous. Makers succeed in growing the a lot required eerie surroundings, without which the film might now not were capable of create the type effect that it has been able to. The performances in the film are exceptional. The historical past tune is haunting and enhances the film experience. The Shaitaan theme is solid, although it may be very much like the Mahabarata theme 'Hai Katha Sangram Ki'.

What doesn't work for Shaitaan:
Despite being shorter than traditional Hindi releases, Shaitaan does get barely draggy inside the middle portions because the plot is paper skinny. Fortunately, the movie surely unearths its personal within the mind-boggling third act.
For a thriller, greater cinematic liberties are taken than they preferably should be taken and that dilutes the effect of the movie to some diploma.
Barring what's shared, there is not anything else to genuinely complain about this smart supernatural-mystery that succeeds to keep you on the edge of your seats.
Performances in Shaitaan:
Ajay Devgn as Kabir, essays the role of a circle of relatives man, beautifully properly. It's whilst he's his most susceptible, that he in reality shines as a performer. His role is a hat tip to his cherished individual of Vijay Salgaokar from Drishyam.
R Madhavan as Vanraj is killer, pretty actually. He goes full psycho and does all that it takes for the target audience to loathe him.
Janki Bodiwala as Janvhi is notable. What a bloody accurate performance she has brought with a purpose to absolutely provide her name, reputation and recognition.
Jyothika as Neha essays her function of a helpless mom with utmost grace and honesty. Her fight scene in the fateful farmhouse is to look at out for.
Aangad Raaj as the little child Dhruv brings innocence to the film. He is delightful.
