Ekta Kapoor has finalized some of the characters for their show, Mohit Malhotra, Hina Khan, Dheeraj Kapoor, and many more.While talking about their character in the show, they play as a different and unique character. In the interview, along with the Sharad Malhotra, he explained that he decided to play the role of protagonist for Naagin season 5. But he said yes when the show's makers encourage him to play a negative role within the show.

It is unexpected for me, and in his statement, he explained” Initially, when I was offered Naagin 5, I had this perception that I was going to be the hero. But then I was corrected saying that no, Ekta Ma'am wants you as the antagonist, as the villain, and that completely took me by surprise. It was something which I never expected,"

He also explains that no one can even think about offering him a negative character in his career. Even though no one can even visualize him as a negative character, he said that he is playing a positive character from a long time. I always love to play a sanskari beta character or anything related to it, but this role is different from the others one.
