In what appears to be a dire exertion to restore a withering establishment, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has delegated Shekhar Kapur as the new leader of the Film and Television Institute Of India(FTII). The FTII once a shelter for ability, for example, Shabana Azmi, Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri, Rehana Sultan, Shatrughan Sinha has recently fallen into difficult situations with scarcely any ability rising up out of the once-thriving organization. 

Graduate Shatrughan Sinha commends the transition to designate Shekhar Kapur as the new FTII boss. "He is commendable from each point. Splendid brain splendid universally praised movie producer Shekhar will bring genuinely necessary essentialness and heading to the FTII."
