In 2023, Bollywood noticed a wonderful resurgence for Sunny Deol with the achievement of Gadar 2. It also marked a reconciliation among Deol and Shah Rukh Khan. Regarding the widely circulated photo of him embracing Shah Rukh Khan and their resolution of past variations, Sunny shared that everybody is secure and has moved on. He also stated that everyone is aware of where they went incorrect and what they were given right. “Time is a healer. It’s excellent to depart it there. I became so happy that everyone became up at my birthday celebration,” he delivered. 

The conflict among Sunny Deol and Shah Rukh Khan originated for the duration of the filming of the 1993 movie Darr. Sunny had expressed dissatisfaction with the portrayal of his protagonist man or woman as compared to the glorification of SRK's antagonist function.
