Tarun Tahiliani slams Mrunal Thakurs episode in Made in Heaven for false representation of designs

Designer Tarun Tahiliani has criticised the makers of series 'Made in Heaven' for falsely attributing his creations to a 'fictitious dressmaker' in an episode of the show's 2nd season. Tahiliani took to his Instagram Stories and said his eponymous label had furnished clothes for the second episode of the season two that featured actor Mrunal Thakur. "It is maximum unfortunate when a famous OTT series violates the understanding behind the provision of garb in the first area. Case in point: Significant quantities of the second episode of 'Made in Heaven,' have been styled using clothes furnished via the Tarun Tahiliani studio in excellent faith to the stylist. This is a stunning breach of faith. Unfortunately, a fictitious fashion designer (actor) representing a fictitious label presented our clothes!" Tahiliani wrote.

The designer said the production house must have engaged a "gown dressmaker, had costumes designed, and proceeded" if their intentions have been now not to provide credit to him. "Let's hope that this scenario does now not repeat itself with different designers who've graciously lent their paintings for OTT productions. Furthermore, it is our hope that such actions will in no way be taken into consideration appropriate in the future," Tahiliani delivered.

The clothes for 2d season of "Made in Heaven" have been styled by Bhawna Sharma. The Prime Video display is created via filmmaker duo Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. The makers are but to respond to Tahiliani's claims.
