Days after the discharge of The Kerala Story in the UK become thrown into disarray after it didn't receive category from the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) for its scheduled debut on May 12, the film is prepared to launch in the overseas land. The film become set to be screened in Hindi and Tamil throughout 31 cinemas in the UK and Ireland, however all screenings were cancelled and tickets had been refunded. After the discharge of The Kerala Story, Adah Sharma has also been getting demise threats. The movie has been facing backlash from a section of political events and corporations who've accused it of being propaganda and known as for a ban. In West Bengal, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has imposed a ban on the film, bringing up worries about retaining peace and stopping capability crimes and violence. Despite all the controversies, the movie is performing properly on the domestic Box Office. In ‘The Kerala Story’, actress Adah Sharma performs the role of Fathima Ba, a Hindu Malayali nurse, who is some of the 32,000 ladies who went lacking from Kerala and have been then recruited to the ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) after being pressured to convert to Islam.
