J and K government introduced at the occasion of Republic Day the conferment of J and K Government  Awards to Bollywood actor Vidyut Jammwal and URI: The Surgical Strike director Aditya Dhar. The  celebrities were decided on for the award from the sphere of acting arts. These awards are conferred every 12 months at the eve of Republic Day in popularity of contributions made by way of exquisite achievers in exceptional fields like literature, acting artwork, excellence in art & crafts, social reforms and empowerment and other fields. 

ANI tweeted the statistics concerning Vidyut and Aditya being decided on for J and K Govt Awards. "J&K Govt announced the conferment of J&K Govt Awards, 2023 on Republic Day. Award inside the category of Performing Arts changed into conferred to Actor Vidyut Jamwal, Uri Film Director Aditya Dhar whereas Cricketer Umran Malik changed into conferred with award in splendid sports people category (sic)," the tweet examine.Apart from Vidyut and Aditya, actors Mir Sarwar (Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Dishoom, Jolly LLB 2), Iqbal Khan (Jalsa and Indoo Ki Jawani) and folks singer Noor Mohammed may even receive the  J and K Govt Award. The prize includes Rs 51,000 coins, a medal and a quotation. On the films front, Vidyut will be seen in his domestic production IB 71 and an untitled action film with Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez. Meanwhile, Aditya Dhar is but to announce his subsequent directorial task after Uri (2019). He became working on The Immortal Ashwatthama with Vicky Kaushal but it has been scrapped.
